# α┊Season Alpha

**Season 1: The Origins – Alpha Frog Drop**

FeatherFrogs kicks off with the release of **9,990 Level 1 Alpha Frogs**, and this will be the **only time** frogs are ever sold directly. Everything beyond Level 1 will need to be earned through gameplay and evolution.

The Alpha Frogs will be released in **three batches**, each with its own vibe:

* 🔧 **Artisans** (#1–#3330)
* 🎇 **Healers** (#3331–#6660)
* 🏹 **Hunters** (#6661–#9990)

Each batch will go through **three Level-Up events** before the next one is released — giving everyone time to trade, strategize, and find their perfect match before moving forward.

After each drop, players will have a short window to buy, sell, and swap frogs to line up a compatible pair. Once ready, they can jump into the **Level-Up event**, where **two matching frogs** (same species and birthstone — one male, one female) can be **burned to evolve into a Level 2 Frog**.

Because the gender and birthstone combinations aren’t evenly split, not every Frog will find a partner. That means only around **1,890 to 2,000 Level 1 Frogs** are expected to survive the first round of evolutions — making them rare and possibly sought-after down the line.
